Milford, NH 7/9/2013 – On July
20th, 2013 at 7pm The Amato Center for the Performing Arts in
Milford, NH will host 10 bands from all over New Hampshire and even as far as
Buffalo, NY in the first annual Rock at the River Bend Battle of the
Bands. Proceeds from the event will
benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley.
“We’re
really excited to showcase some of the young, up and coming talent of the
region in our theater! We have great support
from sound, lighting, and video production companies that should make this an
amazing event!” stated Theater Director, Robin LaCroix.
The 10
bands lined-up for the show are Catatonic (Derry), Eyes Set West (Hillsboro),
Lucid (Derry), Obsydian (Salem), Mammoth
Road (Nashua), Studio Two (Milford), Strawberry Embassy (Concord), The Blind Commissioner (Salem), Breckenwood
(Buffalo, NY), and Call My Name (Manchester) who will perform while the judges
choose the winner.
Thanks to Saxons
Sounds Productions and Betsy’s Folly Studios, the performers will each receive
a live audio and video recording of the event.
Saxons Sounds Productions will also be providing the live sound support
for the event. Prizes from West Terrace
Media and Northeastern Digital include a full sales and marketing review and an
initial consultation along with mastering of a single from Grammy award winning
engineer Toby Mountain.
Doors open
at 6pm and performances start at 7pm the night of the event. Tickets can be purchased online at www.amatocenter.org or at the door for
$10.
