New!! eXtreme Team Signups for Ski & Snowboarding

We are now accepting registrations for ski & snowboard trips as part of the club's new eXtreme Team teen program. The New eXtreme Team program is designed to promote one of the club's three priority outcomes: healthy lifestyles. The program will also emphasize many of the club's values including fun, teamwork, respect and leadership. Throughout the year, eXtreme Team members will have GREAT opportunities to explore their abilities in various activities including skiing, snowboarding, climbing and surfing.

To kick-off 2013,the eXtreme Team has scheduled five ski and snowboard trips to various New Hampshire resorts including Pat’s Peak, Bretton Woods and Waterville Valley, all at discounted prices. These trips, offered to grades 6-12, include transportation and lift tickets to and from the resort.

The first of two night trips to Pat’s Peak is on Wednesday, January 9th while the first day trip to Waterville Valley is on Monday January 21st. The eXtreme Team will also see a lineup of summer trips potentially for surfing, climbing, and rafting. While each trip can be reserved individually, all trips are first-come, first-served and spots are limited. To learn more or register for trips, visit http://www.svbgc.org/programs/athletics/extreme-team/extreme-team-intro.aspx or contact the Director of Marketing and Outreach at the Club, Kevin Salemi, via email at ksalemi@svbgc.org or phone 603-672-1002 ext. 23.

Welcome Students to a Winter Wonderland

When school resumes for Sandy Hook, it will be in a new building. Parent-volunteers are working to ensure that the students are welcomed back by a winter wonderland with the entire school decorated with as many unique snowflakes as possible. We encourage senders to be as creative as possible, remembering that no two snowflakes are alike. Please make and send snowflakes by January 12, 2013 to the Connecticut PTSA address at the bottom of this page OR drop-off your snowflakes at The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley's collection box.
