In-store giving campaign to provide funds to Boys & Girls Club of
Souhegan Valley
Milford (10/31/2014)– Every year, nearly 4 million young
people are served by Boys & Girls Clubs. To celebrate these extraordinary
efforts, Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) announced that it is partnering
with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) with a four-week program called,
“Open the Door for America’s Kids.”
Beginning Nov. 1, Family Dollar customers in Milford can make a monetary contribution at checkout to be donated to the Boys
& Girls Club of Souhegan Valley this
holiday season.
“After learning how many children are served by
Boys & Girls Clubs across the country each year, we knew we wanted to lend
a hand,” said Howard Levine, Chairman and CEO of Family Dollar. “We are
thrilled to be teaming up with such an incredible organization, and I know that
together, we can help provide a happier holiday season to many children and families
across the country.”
